The Division employs modern biotechnology with safety measures in place for answering intractable questions in crop production; for modifying or adding genes into crops; for accelerating crop breeding and variety testing programs; for mass propagating plants; and for detecting and utilizing novel functional ingredients in plants. The Division has four advanced research labs to address the aforesaid challenges.
