The Division is responsible for the management of research projects (co-ordination, output collation, etc.), technology transfer (exhibition, demonstration, training and education), academia-industry collaboration (translation of research outputs into applications), innovation incubation center (cultivation of agricultural entrepreneurship), dissemination of information and knowledge (publications, library services, online query, etc.), one-stop all-round consultation services (on all stages of supply chain of both production and postharvest of specific crops), and international and in-county cooperation (advocacy, negotiation, co-ordination, etc.). These responsibilities are taken up by the two offices in the Division: the office of science and technology management and the office of technical services.
