Agriculture is becoming a complex, multifaceted, and cutting-edge industry. And influence of a dynamic environment is forcing farms to operate based on the marketing results. Increased attention should be given to business-to-business relations, in which a structured and well considered approach is central. In order to ensure that the agri-food products are grown, harvested, processed, and distributed effectively, the Division engages in four R&D domains: 1) agricultural operations research; 2) training of agricultural operations personnel; 3) production and marketing research; and 4) economic impacts assessment. These research activities are conducted by the two laboratories: 1) operations management research laboratory; and 2) marketing research laboratory.
