Abstract
臺灣自1997年12月下旬自台中后里馬鈴薯主產區田爆發大規模晚疫病後，病害迅速向外擴展蔓延，遍及全省之馬鈴薯與番茄田，尤其是冬季裡作之馬鈴薯田無一倖免，損失平均在50%以上。
The disease rapidly spread throughout covering most of potato fields located at Fongyuan, Tanze, Touliu, and Shiko. It almost destroyed all the potato field at Holi and caused >50% yield loss of potato that year. Meanwhile, many pomato fields were also ruin out by the same disease at the same time.
