Abstract

本試驗以不同地區台南白族群自交分離之自交系13個的全互交F1雜交種（不含反交），以及天然混合授粉之台南白品種（對照種）爲材料，於1996年秋作在農試所進行田間試驗。結果顯示，所調查的農藝性狀，其一般組合力均方(GCA)及特殊組合力均方(SCA)均達極顯著，表示係由一般組合力及特殊組合力效應共同控制著這些性狀的表現，而其GCA/SCA均方比値介於4.0～10.7之間，顯示以一般組合力效應佔較大部份。針對產量而言，發現F1雜交種的表現呈現不同地區族群間優於同一地區族群内，且不同地區族群間有較高百分比的F1雜交種其產量表現較對照種佳。同時F1交種之SCA效應與對照雜種優勢的表現，亦以不同地區族群間優於同一地區族群内，故不同地區族群間之F1雜定種可充分表現其產量潜能，因此可利用此項訊息於白玉來之雜交育種，以提高育種效率。 All possible cross-combinations, excluding the reciprocals, were made among thirteen inbred lines isolated from different areas of Tainan-white populations. All the above F, crosses and an open-pollinated Tainan-white (TNW) variety (as check) were used as materials and planted at TARI in fall of, 1996.The results showed that there was a significant difference in tested agronomic characters among genotypes. The general combining ability (GCA) and specific combining ability (SCA) effects were significant for the agronomic characters. The variance of GCA were larger than those of SCA for all agronomic characters, and their ratios were between 4.0 and 10.7. These results indicated that the inheritance of the investigated characters were predominanted by the variance of GCA in TNW maize variety. In general, the mean value, specific combining ability (SCA) effect and standard heterosis for yield in inter-population crosses were higher than those of intra-population crosses. Most of F, hybrids from inter-population had higher yield than that of the open-pollinated TNW variety. The hybrid cross from inbred line derived from different populations had better potential and standard heterosis for yield. This informaiion provided a great advantage to the white maize breeding efficiency in Taiwan.
