Abstract
園藝作物之重要性隨消費水準之提升而日增，為使消費者得到清潔安全之果蔬類，利用抗虫育種方法來防治害虫以減少施藥，避免殘毒危及人畜，遂日受重視。本文就發展作物抗虫研究之條件、目前國內外研究現況如：抗性來源之收集、測試；抗虫機制之測定；抗性遺傳之研究；作物外部形態與抗虫性之關係；作物抗虫之生化分析；因作物別或抗虫因子之不同而進行各種育種方法；以及探討抗虫作物如何予以利用等，分別就較重要之園藝作物舉以實例說明。
The importance of horticultural crops increases along with higher consuming standard, and in order to reduce residual side-effects and provide consumers residue-free vegetables, use of resistant variety for insect pest control has been emphasized. This review text cited examples of important horticultural crops in developing resistance to insect pests; The current status in studying source of resistance, mechanisms and inheritance of resistance, interaction of resistance with crop morphology, biochemical analysis of resistance, various breeding methods, and the application of resistant variety in integrated pest management.
