Abstract
本研究共分兩部，前部爲豫備試驗，在探討以本試驗裝置，測定發芽稻種CO2釋放量之過程中，當溫度變換時，需經若干時間後，種子呼吸作用才能趨於穩定，以增加本試驗結果之正確性。第二部分在探討臺灣蓬萊稻與內地早秈稻，在三種溫度處理下之逐日呼吸作用，以闡明兩型稻發芽種子之生理特異性；比較試驗部分，用蓬萊稻品種12種，早秈稻品種14種。
1. The object of this experiment is to find out the comparative respiration rates in germinating rice, which are tested with 4 different periods of time from soaking at 3 different maintained temperatures 3°, 35°, and 40℃. between the Chinese indigenous varieties (Indica-type) and the Taiwanese ”Horai” varieties (Japonica-type).
