Abstract
檬果為台灣重要經濟果樹，栽培期間從開花至結果期，易受多種害蟲為害，其中以薊馬、葉蟬及東方果實蠅等為主，可造成早期落花、落果及果實劣化，影響果實品質及產量甚鉅，為降低害蟲族群數量、減少蟲害發生及提升農民用藥技術，防檢局積極推動作物蟲害綜合管理，包括疫情監測、田間衛生、使用套袋或誘引資材、推動用藥紀錄並掌握用藥時機及農民組訓等措施，避免農藥殘留過量，確保果品安全，提升我國檬果產業之競爭力。
Mango is an economically important fruit crop in Taiwan, however, the crop was devastated by several pests from flowering to fruiting during growing season, losses caused by early dropping of flower and fruit, and deteriorated of fruit has been tremendous. The important pests including thrips, leafhoppers and oriental fruit fly, could affect both quality and quantity of the fruit. Aiming to prevent the damage caused by mango pests, the Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Inspection and Quarantine (BAPHIQ) launched an integrated pest management (IPM) program. The strategies of the IPM program contain decrease pest population by using monitoring technique in combination with pesticide spraying and poisoned baits, eradication of initial source of pest population by field sanitation, protection fruit from pest infestation by bagging, and training farmers on how to use pesticides properly and safely, and keep records of each application. The objectives of the IPM program are not to avoid unnecessary pesticide residues but also to increase the safety of the fruit and improve the competitiveness of mango production in Taiwan.
