台灣位於熱帶與亞熱帶氣候交界處，雖然周年皆可生產蔬菜，但大部份蔬菜產期多集中於秋冬季與春季。夏季蔬菜栽培可能遭遇氣溫過高導致乾旱、颱風豪雨造成洪水氾濫、或是病、蟲害嚴重等問題，除了不利平地蔬菜生產的產量與品質管控，也常對農民的生計造成影響。此外，天然災害過後蔬菜作物除了直接蒙受災害損失，災後復耕時遇到的病蟲害問題，也影響了蔬菜的供應量與品質。為滿足消費端對於蔬菜作物的需求，同時協助農民在天然災害後能儘速進行復耕，維持生計並穩定市場供需，本文擬以颱風造成的災害為例，探討不同種類的蔬菜在天然災害後可能遭遇的病害種類，並提出災後復耕的栽培管理建議，期協助農民在災後復耕時能進行妥善的栽培與病害管理，以生產安全、健康的蔬菜作物，滿足市場需求並維持農民利益。
Production of vegetable crops during summer season in Taiwan is sometimes not easy due to natural disasters, i.e. high temperature, drought, typhoon, and heavy rain. Loss of quantity and quality of vegetable crops are inevitable if the poor growth condition of vegetable crops and environmental stress after natural disasters are not improved as soon as possible. Diseases on vegetables after natural disasters would result in serious loss of yield and might affect the life of farmers. In this review, we will focus on vegetable diseases that might occur after natural disasters and discuss what measures should be taken for management of these diseases.
