Abstract
為瞭解本省積穀害蟲與益蟲之種類，在臺中、新竹、臺北等三縣進行普遍性調查，包括米穀、大豆、玉米、甘藷簽等倉庫84處結果如下：
積穀害蟲種類發現65種；其中鞘翅目17科45種，鱗翅目5科8種，直翅目1科2種，總尾目1科3種，嚙蟲目2科3種，雙翅目1科1種，壁蝨目1科3種，其中已鑑定學名58種中，過去未記錄者8種。
益蟲種類發現22種；其中捕食性鞘翅目1科2種，半翅目1種，偽蠍目1種，寄生性膜翅目17種，壁蝨目1種，其中已鑑定學名9種中，過去未記錄者2種。
An extensive survey on the insect pests of stored rice, soybean, com, and sweet potato strip was made in Taiwan, 1966. 84 granary houses located in Taichung, Hsinchu and Taipei prefecture were carefully examined in this study.
65 species of insect pests were found and classified into 45 species of 17 families of Caleoptera, 8 species of 5 families of Lepidoptera, 2 species of Orthoptera, 3 species of Thysanura, 3 species of 2 families of Corrodentia, 1 species of Diptera and 3 species of Acarina (see text table 1). 58 species of the insect pests have been determined in this paper.
And 8 out of 58 species are new to Taiwan.
The findings of natural enemies of the granary insects as mentioned above are listed in the following table. 9 species of them are determined in this report. Two species of them are new record.
