Abstract
1．黃麻雄蕊數目頗多，圓果種與長果種有差別，前者45個品種平均爲24.8枚，後者4個品種平均爲53.3枚。兩者花粉粒之大小略同，古巴長莢縱徑爲35.3±2.0μ，橫徑29.5±2.0μ．白露縱徑39.2±1.8μ，橫徑30.5±1.4μ，洋麻Madras red花粉粒縱徑121.83±16.9μ，橫徑117.49±27.9μ。
This is a report in studing the observation of the blooming habits of jute and ambrai hemp. It was conducted by the writers in the Department of the Institute during the years of 1946 and 1947. The experimental results obtained are brifly summarized as follows: 1. The varieties of jute and ambrai hemp used as the tested materials were White dew (Corchorus capsularis), Cuba long pod (C. olitorius) and Madras red (Hibiscus cannabinus).
