Abstract
本試驗係繼薄荷銹病藥劑防治初步試驗（1963），檢討防治薄荷銹病之有效藥劑Dithane M-22（1:400稀釋液）之適當撒藥時期及撒藥次數，以供推廣之參考。
本年度曾分三種撒藥時期（栽植後經 52日、62日、72日），並分成1、2、3次共六種處理，分別撒佈藥劑，所得結果概述如下：
1. 供試之六種處理，除在一次撒藥時，栽植後經52日、62日撒藥都外，其餘各處理與無施藥區之間，均有極顯著之差異，而經施藥後均無藥害之發生。
2. 供試處理中，在一次撒藥時，栽植後經52日、62日、72日等，其撒藥時期之前、後之冒及二次撒藥時之前、後期之間，其防病效果均無顯著之差異。而撒藥次數則以撒藥三次及二次效果為優，撒藥一次者次之，而撒藥三次與二次之間差異不顯著。
3. 各處理對產量之影響，除其收油量在一次撒藥時，栽植後經52日及62日撒藥者外，其餘各處理較無施藥區，均有極顯著之良佳效果。
4. 供試處理中，在一次撒藥時，撒藥時期前、後之間，其增產效果均無顯著之差異，二次撒藥時，以後期撒藥者之效果為優。撒藥次數則以撒藥三次及二次之效果為優，而兩者之間差異不顯著。
5. 在實際應用上，自栽植後經62日開始，隔10日撒藥一次，而連續二次為宜。
This paper deals with the results of maneb spray test on mint rust control for its effective spraying timing and application frequencies.
The maneb dilution was applied on mint with six treatments of spray timing and application frequency combinations.
Results obtained were summarized as follows:
1. With exception of treatment with one application on 52 or 62 days after planting, all treatments showed significant control effects on mint rust control. In addition to it, no injuries by chemical were observed.
2. There were no differences among the treatments with one application of the different spray timing. It was also the case in the treatments with two applications. However, treatments with two or three applications showed the superior effect on rust control to the treatments with one application. There were no significant differences among the treatments with two and three appli-cations.
3. With exception of treatments with one application on 52 or 62 days after planting, all treatments showed a significant increase of mint yields.
4. Among the treatments, one application treatments of different spray timing showed no difference among them, while between two twice application treatments, the later spray was superior to the earlier spray.
5. Generalizing the results, the treatments of three applications and two applications of the later spray showed the significantly economical increase of the yield. So, for the practical control of mint rust the two applications of maneb spray initiated on 62 days after planting could be recommended.
