Abstract
東方果實蠅（Bactrocera dorsalis）及瓜實蠅（Zeugodacus cucurbitae）是臺灣最常見的兩種果實蠅，前者為害許多重要經濟果樹，後者則為瓜類作物的重要害蟲。兩者的生活史、行為及環境適應性相似，防治方法亦相同，包括噴施藥劑、毒餌誘殺、大量滅雄、釋放不孕性雄蟲、生物防治、使用產卯忌避劑、果實套袋、網室栽培、田間衛生等。這些防治法中，噴施藥劑、餌劑誘殺及滅雄法都須使用農藥，其中又以經常性全園噴施的農藥用量最多。監測田間族群密度與抗藥性的發生情形，掌握防治時機並進行抗藥性管理，以提升農藥的防治效率，進而降低農藥使用量，是化學防治的重要課題。The oriental fruit fly (Bactrocera dorsalis) and the melon fly (Zeugodacus cucurbitae) are the two most common fruit fly species in Taiwan. The former mainly attacks a wide range of economically important fruit trees, and the latter is a very serious pest of cucurbit crops. This two fruit fly species have the similar life cycle, behaviors, and environmental adaptations, therefore same control measures were applied for their controls. The control methods include cover spray of insecticides, bait attract-and-kill, male annihilation, sterile insect technique, biological control, oviposition deterrents, fruit bagging, screenhouse cultivation, field sanitation, etc.
