Abstract

1. Demosan 65W slurry-overcoating, Demosan 65W and Granosan L slurry-overcoating, Granosan L slurry-overcoating, demosan 65W in-furrow spray, Granosan M wet-dressing, and Tillex E.C. wet-dressing, in the order named, were effective in increasing seedling emergence, preventing preemergence damping-off, increasing stands, and in some case, reducing postemergence damping-off in the soil infested with Thanatephorus cucumeris. 嘉南平原某些鄉鎮，棉花因年年連作，致使種子腐敗，不發芽及幼苗腰折病之發生成為嚴重問題。本試驗之目的，希望能找出一種優良的種子保護劑及其使用方法以取代目前之土壤消毒方法，以減少藥劑費用，節省農民勞力，使之更普遍為農民所採用，進而提高棉花單位面積產量，確保棉農收益，繁榮農村經濟。
