Abstract
1983年在全省10個地點測驗5個秈稻推廣品種之特性及適應性。第2期作稻穀產量量以台中秈17號、台農秈19號、台農秈糯2號及台中秈糯1號均較對照品種台中秈3號高產。第1期作除台中秈糯1號較低外，其餘三品種均比台中秈3號高。綜合兩期作之結果，以台中秈17號最高產，其適應性亦較廣。
To evaluate agronomic traits and adaptability of new indica rice varieties, 5 varieties were tested at 10 locations in 1983. The result showed that Taichung Sen 17, Tainung Sen 19, Tainung Sen waxy 2 and Taichung 1st crop except Taichung Sen waxy 1. A stability test indicated that the highest yielder Taichung Sen 17 showed a wide adaptabiltiy in the 10 sites tested.
