Abstract
由本省中、南部分離所得之20個稻白葉枯病菌（Xanthomonas campestris pv. oryzae）菌株，依其對日本5個判別品種（Kinmaze, Rantai-Emas, Chugoku 45, Kogyoku及Java 14）的抗或感性，可分為5種病原羣，其中病羣I、II、V與日本之病原型相同，病原羣III及IV則與日本各羣均不相同；若依對菲律賓判別品種其中之4 個品種（IR 8, IR 20, DV 85及IR 1545-339）之反應，可將供試20個菌株分為4種病原羣，除IV羣可能與菲律賓I羣相同外，其餘均與菲律賓之病原羣不相同。由此可知本省稻白葉枯病菌病原羣與日本、菲律賓比較，一部份之反應相同，而另一部份之反應則不相同。供試20個白葉枯病菌菌株，各接種於另搜集之稻種50個品種上，測定各品種之反應，可類別5個稻品種羣，如果自此5個品種羣中各選出1品種作為本省暫定判別品種（即臺農67號、臺農70號、臺中秈10號、臺中186號及臺農秈18號），分析本省白葉枯病菌菌株，可區分5個病原羣，此5個暫定判別品種是否能作為本省的判別品種，須待測定更多的菌株及分析各品種之抗（感）病基因後，方能確定。Twenty out of 183 isolates of Xanthomonas campestris pv. oryzae isolated from southern and central Taiwan were used by the reaction of 5 Japanese differentials (Kinmaze, Rantai-Emas, Chugoku 45, Kogyoku and Java 14). Three groups of them, group Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅴ, were corresponding to the same groups of Japanese groups. The other groups, group Ⅲ and Ⅳ, were different from Japanese groups. Besides, the tested isolates were identified as 4 pathogenic groups by the reaction of 4 out of IRRI differentials (IR 8, IR 20, DV 85 and IR 1545-339). One of them, group Ⅳ, might be corresponding to group Ⅰ of Philippine isolates. The other groups were different from Philippine groups due to the susceptible reaction of DV 85. The results indicated that Taiwanese isolates of X. campestris pv. oryzae were somewhat different to Japanese and Philippine isolates.
