Abstract
害蟲綜合管理是一種以生態為基礎，以經濟利益為目的的一種防蟲策略，主要內容是使用適當而不相互矛盾的防治技術，將害蟲族群維持於造成“經濟危害損失”之密度以下，而防治措施需於害蟲的危害可能達到造成經濟危害損失前實施。此一防蟲策略包括“經濟危害基準”，需實施防治之“經濟閾值”或稱“行動界限”，害蟲族群的動態監測與預測，以及防治技術的組成及效果評估等層面。
Integrated pest management (IPM) is a strategy for preventing economic losses of a crop from insect pests as well as taking account of environmental protection. The strategy system consists of following components, namely “economic injury level”, “economic threshold”, pest population monitoring and forecasting, and constitution of controlling techniques.
