Abstract
本試驗係檢討數種殺菌劑對薄荷銹病之防病效果，以供推廣上之參考劑。本年度曾供試六種殺菌劑，施藥後行人工接種，所得結果概述如下：
1. 供試之六種殺菌劑，大體言之均有防病效果，惟Dithane S-31, Suzu Tablet兩種稍有藥害之跡象。
2. 供試藥劑中防病效果最卓著者為Dithane M-22之1:200稀釋液。
3. 各殺菌劑對產量之影響以Dithane Z-78, Dithane M-22為最優，共餘藥劑除Dithane S-31之1:600, Suzu Tablet之1:750, 1:1,000 , KB-90之1:300等稀釋液外，均較無撒佈區為佳。
4. 在實際上應用時，當以 Dithane M-22 之1:400稀釋液較妥。
The mint rust caused by Puccinia menthae Pers. was a destructive disease found in many fields of the mint growing areas in this Island. This experiment was deals with the screening test of the fungicides for controlling of the mint rust.
Six fungicides, namely, Dithane Z-78, Dithane M-22, Dithane S-31, Suzu Tablet, KB-90, and Ruston, were tested in this experiment. The fungicides were sprayed before the artificial inoculation being made. The results may be summarized as follows:
1. The six tested fungicides showed the different effectiveness for the disease control, while, Dithane S-31 and Suzu Tablet were some toxiabie to the leaves after application.
2. From the experimental results, Dithane M-22 (1:200) was the most effective fungicide in controlling of mint rust.
3. As the effects of fungicides on the yield of mint, Dithane Z-78, and Dithane M-22 were the most effective fungicides, although the others, except Dithane S-31(1 :600), Suzu Tablet(1 :750), (1:1,000), KB-90(1:300) were all effective than the unsprayed ones.
4. In practical used with Dithane M-22, it is better to adopt to the concen-tration at 1:400
