文心蘭乃近年我國全力發展之花卉，由於有利之氣候條件與進步之栽培管理技術，文心蘭切花之品質已獲得國際之認同，特別深獲日本市場消費者之喜愛，遠較其他地區或國家產品具競爭潛力。文心蘭之栽培雖較其化蘭花粗放，但管理過程中仍然會受某些特定病蟲害之侵襲而遭致損失。
Oncidium orchid is one of the ornamental crops considered not only by the growers but also by governmental and academic authorities as a promising floral industry in Taiwan. In recent years our oncidium cut flowers and seedlings for potted plants have been successfully exported to Japan and the qualities are rated with fairly high appraise. Although the cultivation of oncidium orchid is now prosperously and fast developing, there are still some problems necessary to be solved before the oncidium industry can be sustainable established.
