Abstract
台灣是重要的水鳥度冬場所，其中花嘴鴨 (Anas zonorhyncha Swinhoe) 為每年秋冬大量遷徙來台度冬的鳥類。但天然溼地面臨衰退，不少來台度冬的花嘴鴨轉而暫時棲息於水稻田，故水稻田除了生產水稻，亦成為度冬花嘴鴨族群的庇護所。Taiwan is an important winter spot for waterbirds. Among them, the eastern spot-billed duck (Anas zonorhyncha Swinhoe) migrates to Taiwan for a large amount from autumn to winter every year. However, area of natural wetlands in Taiwan is decreasing, and many ducks coming to Taiwan for winter turn to use rice paddies.
