Abstract
台灣鮮葡品種改良目標在於育出大果、不易脫落、高品質、不同風味、不同產期、耐貯藏的新品種，以改良現圶鮮食品種單一，產期產中的缺點。針對此一目標，以引種，人工雜交育種與胚珠培養等技術，進行有核與無核的鮮食葡萄育種工作。為提高台灣釀酒葡的品質，從蒐集的較優種原中，慎選親本，採行雜交育種法，從因子重組與遺傳變異的實生後裔中，篩選適應台灣氣候環境及質量兼優的新品種。多年來已育成1個鮮食葡萄品種及4個釀酒葡萄。
Breeding objectives of table grapes in Taiwan are large berry size, strong berry adherence, high quality, different flavor, long shelf life, earlier and later than the existing cultivars. In order improve of table grape, introduced cultivars artificial hybridization and ovule culture were used in the cultivar breeding project. The wine grape breeding program has been carrying out by hybridizing procedures, using the carefully selected praental varieties of superior germplasm from collected cultivars. New wine grape breeding lines, with good yield and quality, as adapting to the Taiwan weather and conditions, were screened from the off springs of gene recombined and mutational seedlings. One table grape cultivar and four wine grape cultivars had been released.
