Abstract
精準農業是八十年代初期國際農業領域發展的一門新技術，其管理耕地的方式是以經濟、合理之農業投入，來獲得各方面最高回報的一種管理策略，對環境衝擊最小，是農業發展的必然趨勢。為因應世界潮流及配合國內整體試驗研究需要，「水稻精準農業體系研究」先驅計畫特於本所設置共同試驗農場，面積10. 83 公頃，共分164小區，每小區25 × 25 平方公尺，辦理農場硬體規劃施設及農機整備。
Precision agriculture is a new technology developed during early 1980’s. As a management strategy, it determines the economical and reasonable input, gains the greatest return to the producer and the least impact on the environment. It is a necessary outcome of agricultural development.
