Abstract
百香果乃近年來極受歡迎之新興果樹，民國73年栽培面積曾達1400公頃，果汁外銷歐美產業前途頗為看好。無奈70年起開始發生之病毒病逐漸蔓延全省，造成百香果產量品質劇降面積迅速萎縮，外銷產業全面停頓。
Passionfruit (Passiflora edulis Sims.) has been commercially cultivated in Taiwan for more than twenty five years. Virus diseases, however were not considered as major limiting factors for growing this crop until 1980 when an outbreak of virus disease occurred.
