Abstract
1. 本試驗係自民國48年第2期作開始分在臺北（本所）臺中、屏東(改良場）三地區舉行。其目的在尋求早熟，豐產而適應性黃之品種以配合裹作，輪作及特殊地區之須要。 2. 供試品種共8種，內5品種各地相同，另二種對照品種為當地認為早熟豐產之推廣品種，另一種為共同參考品種臺中65號。 1. The present experiment is aimed to select early maturity varieties of rice with high yield, and wide adaptability, from the view point of interplanting and rotational cultivation. 2. Five newly introduced varieties were cultivated together with two early maturity Ponlai (Japoica type) varieties of respective district of Taipei, Taichung and Pintung as controls. Taichung No. 65, the standard variety in Taiwan was also added throught the experiment for comparison, in addition.
