Abstract

There are 4 species of Pleurotus, P. ostreatus, P cornucopiae, P. abalonus, and P. cystidiosus, recognized in Taiwan. Pleurotus cystidiosus is emended with the results of detailed microscopic observations. 北風菌屬 ( Pleurotus ) 之分佈極廣，無論溫帶或熱帶均有本屬菇類。目前本屬已知之各種均可食用，尤俱有大型子實體之各種，大多風味品質均佳，極具發展成企業化栽培之潛力和價值。
