Abstract
台灣低海拔地區以往只有開單瓣、白花的果梅品種，缺乏觀賞用的花梅品種。利用台灣果梅品種為母本，粉紅重瓣的花梅為父本，育成一個低需冷性，白色重瓣的花梅品種，命名為‘台農花梅1號’，商品名為‘純香’。
Due to low winter chill units in low elevation areas of Taiwan, only single petal, white flower varieties of Mei (Prunus mume Sieb. et Zucc.) were grown as a fruit crop and there was no ornamental Mei varieties grown in these regions. The objective of this study was to develop an ornamental Mei with low chilling requirement for the low elevation areas of Taiwan.
