Abstract
本試驗之目的，在比較硫酸銨、氯化銨、尿素及硝酸銨四種氮肥對於水稻之肥效。 本試驗於1952年於第一第二兩期作在臺北、汐止、文山、羅東、新竹、苗栗、員林、臺中、鳳山，屏東十地區舉行。 試驗之每種肥料各分四個施量平準，即施氮量爲0，40，80及120公斤／公頃，其中臺北、新竹、臺中、員林採用裂區試驗設計，共十六處理，重複四次，其餘六處，採取隨機區組設計，爲十三處理，（氮0公斤／公頃只居一處理）四重複。 試驗結果，用變量分析法測定差異之顯著性，分析方法，予以討論。 從分析之結果中，可得下列之結論。
In course of the industrization of Taiwan, fertilizer has become the most urgent need. Many factors should be considered before the end product of the fertilizer plant is determined. Among them the availability of the fertilizers to the most important crops in Taiwan will doubtlessly be one of the most important factors. The purpose of this investigation is to study the relative availability of ammonium sulphate, ammonium chloride, ammonium nitrate and urea to rice. Nine experiments of the first crop and ten experiments of the second crop were conducted in ten localities from north to south of Taiwan.
