Abstract
在糧食倉庫實地試驗，將倉庫四周壁窩密封被，以靈丹燻煙劑0.3g/m3藥量燻煙處理後，雖部份煙霧從屋頂瓦縫冒找出，但其治蟲效果仍然育效。如倉頂育塑膠布密封效果更為顯著。另於降雨時以0.25g/m3藥量燻煙處理者並未見煙燻洩出，其治蟲效力則與0.3g/m3藥量處理所獲結果頗近似。
在糧食倉庫空倉時應澈底打掃清潔，將四壁所有門窗密封，按容積每1000m3使用靈丹燻煙劑300g燻煙處理，經4小時後，即可啟開倉門儲入新穀，如不急於儲穀時則長期封閉更能維持較長久之延毒治蟲功效。若堆儲穀時防止倉底濕氣，而鋪層穀殼者頓將穀殼一併堆放倉內同時處理，更能達到理想洽蟲目的。
For the granary test, the cracks of doors and windows were firstly sealed with sealing stuff, then fumigated with lindane with a dosage of O.3g/m3, but part of the fog escaped through the cracks of the tiled roof, however, the insecticidal activity of fumigation was still effective. A tiled roof covered with polyethylene sheets would secure a better insecticidal activity. Another test was carried out on rainy days, and the dosage was reduced to O.25g/m3. The lindane fog did not seem to be escaping to the opening air. The insecticidal activity was close to that of the dosage of 0.3g/m3.
As to secure desired effect, the empty granary should first be cleaned thoroughly. Then the cracks of doors and windows should be sealed, and fumigated with lindane at a dosage of 300g/1000m3. After 4 hours of fumigation, the granary is ready for storing grain. It is recommended, if possible, that the sealing enclosure of the fumigant fog be maintained as long as possible, as this extends the residual effect.
In case husk is to be spread on the floor of the granary to keep away excessive moi sture in the storage of grain, it should be spread before the fumigation.
