Abstract
一、本試驗目的在探求臺彎南部胡瓜露菌病之發生及其消長，供試品種爲落合胡瓜，舉行小規模之防除試驗計四次。 二、露菌病發生時期，自胡瓜本葉展開三至四枚始，開花結實後逐漸嚴重，至採果期達最高舉，罹病率達70%以上。
1. This experiment was intended to trace out the occurrence of the cucumber downy mildew (Peronosplasmopara cubensis (B. et C.) Clint.), which is the most serious disease of cucumber, in South Taiwan. Control experiments were carried out four times in the past four years. 2. Infection begins when 3 or 4 leaves send out and becomes serious up to the fruitsetting time. The percentage of the diseased leaf is as high as 71.74 by average of harvesting time.
