Abstract
植物健康管理的三角錐模式圖中的四個角分別為植物、環境、時間及侵襲者，而植物病害三角關係的三個角分別為植物、病原及環境。由三角錐模式圖中顯見作物病害防治包含於植物健康管理的體系之中。病害防治的策略係以增強植物健康與抗病性、削弱病原菌的致病力或降低接種源，以及改善栽培環境使植物與病原脫勾等方面進行思維，以打破病害三角關係，進而研發出有效的防病措施。在增強植物健康與抗病性方面，有健康種(子)苗培育、抗病育種、誘導抗病及適當的栽培管理措施；削弱病原菌的致病力或降低接種源方面，有使用植物萃取物、重碳酸鹽、抗蒸散劑或乳化植物油、拔除病株及栽培管理；而改善栽培環境使植物與病原脫勾方面，有設施栽培、物理防治、良好通風環境、適當肥培技術、生物防治及土壤添加物等栽培管理措施。祇要將各種防治病害的措施融入作物栽培管理體系之中，培育健康的植物並非難事。
The corners of the triangular pyramid model for the plant health management are plant, environment, time, and invader, whereas the triangles for plant disease are plant, environment and pathogen. Obviously, the triangular pyramid model comprises the plant disease triangle. The strategies for control of plant diseases are to improve host plants for disease resistance, to reduce inoculum sources of pathogens and to manipulate environmental conditions for improving protection of plants from infection by pathogens. Methods for improving health of host plants include use of pathogen-free seeds or seedlings, breeding for disease resistance, induce systemic resistance, and effective cultural practices. Methods for reducing inoculum sources of pathogens include application of plant extracts, bicarbonates, antitranspirants or emulsified plant oils, sanitation and culture practices. Methods for manipulation of environmental conditions to improve disease control include cultivation under structure, physical control, good air circulation, suitable fertigation system, biological control, and organic and/or inorganic soil amendments. It is easy to grow healthy plants by farmers when the critical methods described above are incorporated into plant cultivation system.
