台灣稻穀最常以PP袋平倉堆疊方式儲存，而棧板堆疊及太空包裝儲存則漸受喜愛。本試驗在銅鑼農會比較PP袋平倉堆疊儲存與太空包裝儲存期問積穀害蟲之族群變化，調查發現其害蟲密度隨季節波動，夏季高溫時害蟲繁殖快速成長，冬季低溫時密度最低。 Rice was traditionally stored in PP-woven bags in the warehouses of local farmers associations in Taiwan, but new methods with wood pallets and flexible containers have gradually been accepted and favored. Pest populations of stored grains stored using wood pallets and flexible containers, in Tunglo were compared. Populations of stored product insects fluctuated with seasons. High temperature in the summer caused rapid development of the pests.
