Abstract
The experimental feed was adding 30mg of streptomycin to one Kilogram of the basal feed which contains 20% of protein. The period of this experiment was twelve weeks. The date gave the following result:
1. This experimental feed had no stimulating effect on the growth of the chick during the first four week. The experimental feed lot had shown the growth quicker than the basal feed lot afterward, showing significant difference (P＜0.01) at the 8th week and no significant difference at the 12th week (P＞0.05). But between the experimental lot and basal lot, the female chicks at the 12th week had shown significant difference (P＜0.05).
2. Streptomycin had no increase efficiency of the feed utilization.
3. The mortality of the experimental feed lot had shown lower than that of basal feed lot, showing significant difference (P＜0.01).
