Abstract
瘤野螟視為長距離遷移性害蟲之一，原為亞州地區水稻偶發性害蟲，自1960年代中期後在各地之發生頻度驟增，推測與推廣密植豐產稻種即曾施肥料有關。瘤野螟可在台灣越冬，少量越冬蟲成為翌春之蟲源。
The rice leaffolder (Cnaphalocrocis medinalis Guen'ee) is one of migratory insect pest of rice in Asia, and has developed as one of important insect pest of rice since the middle of 1960s' along with dense growth of high yielding varieties and high-level application of fertilizers.
