Abstract
番石榴原產於美洲墨西哥至秘魯一帶，由於適應性廣，熱帶及亞熱帶國家廣泛栽培，臺灣非原生地，初期經由國內外遺傳資源的蒐集引進，經過試驗觀察估後擇優推廣。
Guava originated in Mexico to Peru. Due to its adaptability, Guava is wildly cultivated in tropical and subtropical countries. Although Taiwan is not native origin, after genetic resources collection and evaluation, we decided to promote it.
