Abstract
瓜類蔬菜是台灣非常重要的蔬菜，其種類很多，包括胡瓜、絲瓜、扁蒲、冬瓜、越瓜、南瓜和梨瓜，然而，現今卻以胡瓜、苦瓜、絲瓜、和冬瓜為大宗，其餘栽培得較零星。該等大宗的瓜類蔬菜原產於熱帶亞州，很適宜台灣之氣候條件生長，栽培面積相當多。
Cucurbits, including cucumber, sponge ground, bitter gourd, bottle guard, wax gourd, pumpkin, chayote, water melon and melon, are very important vegetables in Taiwan. They are used as vegetable excluding water melon and melon.
