Abstract
本試驗結果顯示，本省引進北平鴨飼養，其對本省環境適應力甚強。凡肉用品種，生長迅速，體形亦較大。因之其生長上及維持體重上之營養需要飼量較多，為理所當然。在供應肉用之經濟立場，當飼料利用效率較高時期，以飼養8~11星期即供應市場為有利。
Three handred Pekin duck hatching eggs have been introduced by air from United States in Feb. 15, 1954 by the aid of J. C. R. R., as experimental materil. This experiment was started on Feb. 16, 1954 and finished on Oct. 15, 1955. The observation has been made throught the first laying year. This experiment data have shown that the growth rate, viability, hatchabililty, fertility, egg production and the feed utilization efficiency of Pekin ducks are adapting the environment of Taiwan.
