Abstract
Now there is evidence, that vitamin B12 is required by young pigs for growth. Experiments show that about 9 micrograms of vitamin B12 per pound of dry ration is needed for most rapid gains of young pigs. But the exact quantitative requirements of the baby pigs for this vitamin have not been determined.
The experiments reported here are to test the quantitative crystalline vitamin B12 requirements of baby pigs when given by intramuscular injection.
The results are summarized as follows (The form abridges)
