Abstract
本硏究於台南玉井、屏東春曰及屛東三第門選取保果園數處，調査品種前兩處爲＂愛文＂，後一處爲＂在來種＂，實測其園中之微氣候，藉以分析探討其與產期適栽性。根據以往調查結果顯示⑴十一、十二月及(2)元月及二月份的低溫是分別影響三地門及春日地區檬果著果率品低的重要因素，由於近兩年之十一、十二月寒流來襲的次數較少，因此三地門地區採檬果著果率普遍較好：反之，元、二月寒流來襲的可能性較高，所以春日地區檬果著果率也就難以提高。至於玉井試區，由於果農利用摘花技術避過二、三月份的寒流，因此四、五月份雨水較少，便成爲著果率高低的重要決定因子，例如1983年四、五月份雨水較少，結果率也就較往年提高很多。
In order to understand the microclimatal factors affecting the produce of mango, the ratio of fruiting has been investigated for two years since 1992 at Yu-Ching of Tainan, San-Ti-Men and Chun-Jih of Pingtung county, and twenty, ten, fifteen, respectively, years old of mango trees was used in this experiment. The varieties are ‘Irwin’ at Yu-Ching and Chun-Jih, ‘Native’ at San-Ti-Men. The results indicated that the cold waves that occurred during November and December should be responsible for low fruiting ratio of mango at San-Ti-Men. Nevertheless, the cold waves during January and February should be for Chun-Jih experimental fields. The cold waves devastated flowers and fruits which at marble-sized growth stage or younger. At Yu-Ching experimental field, however, cold waves scarcely occurred during mango flowering and fruit-setting season, because farmer took terminal flower off to obtain auxiliary flower bud that developed and flowered during April. Owing to heavy rainfall and/or long rainy periods cause anthracnose and reduce the effectiveness of pollen insects. So rainfall and rainy periods during April and May might be key factors for producing mango in this field.
