Abstract
柑橘產業除極少數品種外，一般皆需使用砧木嫁接方能達到經濟生產之目的。木所從事柑橘砧木之育種工作，首先從事種源蒐集及種源保存工作十年來已蒐集有9屬41種110餘品種155品系計有數千植株，可供研究、育種及種源交換的材料，同時亦持續進行砧木品種1用之雜交授粉工作。目前培育歷年雜交所得之雜交一代候選株系300多株。 There are only few exceptionals, most of the citrus cultivars need the rootstock varieties to meet economical production. TARI began her citrus rootstock breeding program about ten years ago. Under this program the institute had collected 9 genus, 41 species with more than 155 clones keep under screenhouses, greenhouses and experimental field plots which can be used as materials for breeding works and inter-institutional exchanges. The institute are always keep the artificially cross pollination works going on between different varieties or clones. In the present there are more than 300 F1 candidate trees growing under this program.
