Abstract
檬果之主要害蟲 在(一)開花期以檬褐葉蟬 (Idioscopus niveosparsus) 和綠葉蟬 (I.clypealis) 之為害最嚴重，次為姬黃薊馬 (Scirtothrips dorsalis) 和花薊馬 (Thrips hawaiiensis) 檬果螟蛾 (Chlumetia transversa)幼蟲蛀入花穗為害亦不少，這些害蟲在檬果花穗抽出後應即施藥防治。
About 82 specise of insect pests as shown on Table 1, have been recorded at-tacking mango trees in Taiwan. The most destructive insects are the mango hoppers, Idioscopus niveosparsus and I. clypealis, which cause greatest damages to the mango inflorescences by heavy egg-laying within the stalklets and florets, causing a physical injury; the juice of the inflorescence is suckd by a large number of nymphs and adults and then resulting the vital plant-sap is drained away.
