Abstract
吾們為進一步追求較大花徑、花色艷麗、皺狀花瓣、重瓣品種之杜鵑花以及生長勢強健，花期長、抗性強、栽培容易的種類。 選擇具有優良形性的品種分別為父母本。以引進之品種，具有優良之花型和花色及原生種、栽培種之生長勢強健者為育種之親本。創造出不同花期、花色、花形之優良品種，達到提高觀賞價值及高度應用栽培之目的。 We try to proceed our experiment to achieve Rhododendrons species with the following characteristics: large-scale flowers, outstanding and unique color, long- period blooming, semi-double or double petals, easy cultivation and disease resistances. We selected native varieties, varieties cultivated with strong growing ability and varieties introduced with magnificant flower shape and color to be our parental varieties. Then we start cross-breeding programs in order to create new improved varieties with more prospective results.
