Abstract
(一)雜交育成之黃麻鈍感新品種臺農2號(原系號41--3-2-32)，係臺灣省農棊試驗所於民國41年，以臺中白胭脂X早生赤之後裔。43年將之移臺南柏麻試驗分所，經用混合育種法(10)，按黃麻育種程序所選育，成為本所第1個雜交育成之新品種。
1. The jute variety Tainung No.2 has been selected from hybridization by jute breeding program in Taiwan. It was crossed in Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute at Taipei in 1952 with Taichung White Rouge as female and Early Red as male and selected in Tainan Fiber Crops Experiment Station by bulk method from 1953 to 1965. It was named Tainung No.2 from the strain 41-3-2-32 after demonstration and inspection by the committee of inspection, Provincial Department of Agriculture and Forestry in 1966.
