Abstract
本文對台灣果實蠅監測資料之詳細分析作一敘述，分析之目的在於瞭解此一長達八年監測資料內之資訊意涵。空間分析使用了如半變異元模式，及一般或指標克利金推估等地理統計技術，結果指出空間連續性可長達120-140km，而克利金推估標定出二個密度熱點，此二熱點應被視為防治策略中密度地理分布的中心，指標克利金使用相對密度指標=1為閾值，分析結果顯示可以用橫跨苗栗、花蓮的氣候區域線將全島劃分為北部低密度區和南部高密度區。
This paper describes an extensive analysis of island-wide monitoring records of Oriental fruit fly - the most destructive pest to Taiwan's fruit production industries. We aimed at extracting information content using 8-year data of male catches from 63 different monitoring locations.
