Abstract
台灣栽培之芒果 (Mangifera indica L.) 品種雖然眾多，但國內不具野生種及其近緣種，故栽培上仍以引進種為主。引種自荷蘭時期即開始，且從1970 年起台灣陸續有自行育種的芒果品種問世，種原相當豐富與多樣化。掌握種原特性關係著遺傳改良的成敗，本文建立11 份芒果種原材料的基本資料供未來品種鑑定與
改良的參考。
There are no wild and relatives of Mangifera indica L. in Taiwan. All cultivars were introduced. The selection and breeding programs were started since 1970. To date, there are abundant mango genetic resources in Taiwan. Rigorous and detailed passport data and characteristics data are the basic for germplasm utilization. Eleven accessions of mango conserved at Plant Germplasm Division and Fengshan Tropical Horticultural Experiment Branch, Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute were characterized for future utilization.
