Abstract
台灣芭蕉在1917年被報導為台灣特有的野生香蕉，為建立詳實之特性資料，透過大規模從台灣本島各地所採集的材料，進行其特性調查與分析。台灣芭蕉的主要形態特徵為；吸芽由匍匐莖發育而成，新抽出葉之葉背與中肋有紫紅色條紋。 Musa formosana is a native wild banana in Taiwan. In order to document characteristic data, detailed characterizations of 140 clones of M. formosana which were collected from the whole Taiwan islands were described.
