Abstract
華盛頓臍橙以不同柑橘栽培品種進行人工授粉均可增加其著果率，經授粉處理後果實的品質與未授粉處理組問差異未達顯著水準，惟其種子數含量顯著的增加。
在開花前l及4週將華盛頓臍橙之枝條行環狀剝皮處理可增加果實之著果率，但對果實的品質無顯著影響。
於花蕾期、盛花期及落花期對華盛頓臍橙之枝條行環狀刻傷處理均可提高著果率，尤以盛花期處理者其效果最佳。經刻傷處理後果實品質與未處理間差異未達顯著水準。
Cross-pollination with various varieties of Citrus could improve fruit setting and increase the seed number of ‘Washington’ navel oranges; however, it could not improve fruit quality.
Girdling of limbs of navel trees 1 or 4 weeks before anthesis could increase fruit setting, but it not affect fruit quality significantly. In addition, scoring of limbs of navel trees at prebloom, mid-bloom and the end of bloom could increase fruit setting but could not improve fruit quality as the girdling treatment. The scoring treatment at mid-bloom is most efficient.
