Abstract
採桑養蠶已長達數千年之久，1980年本省栽桑曾達2,737公頃，養蠶戶3,109戶，近年雖不再推廣，惟目前亞洲地區仍有百萬公頃以上之桑園，尤以泰國、越南正全力推展中，依本省推廣模式，良好的桑園是養蠶成功的基礎，本文系探討氣象因子對桑葉生產之影響為重點，以1992年7月至1994年6月，每年分春、夏、秋、冬四期，分別調查產葉量之結果，桑葉又秋及春期收穫者較高，夏及釁期收穫者較低。
Mulberry tree cultivar Taisang2 (Morus alba L. var. acidosa G. ) was pruned and the leaf yields were weighed in four different seasons during a year, and the meteorological data were recorded accordingly. Results were summarized from July 1992 to June 1994. It showed that leaf yields were greater in autumn and spring than in summer and winter.
