Abstract
25℃及13小時光照之定溫箱中，利用浮葉法以檸檬、茶和辣椒之嫩葉飼養茶細螨(Polyphagotarsonemus latus (Banks))，自卵發育至成螨其雌螨及雄螨分別需3.5及3.2、3.6及3.9、4.1及4.1天，壽命分別爲8.8及4.2、15.5及17.9、11.4及15.3天，產卵量分別爲42、58、25粒。雌、雄成蟎性比例在前述三種寄主嫩葉上分別爲2.2、2.6及2.8，在苗木上則爲1.8、2.5及2.3。Polyphagotarsonemus latus (Banks) was reared on the young leaf of lemon, tea, and pepper in incubator at 25℃ and a 13 hours photoperiod. The developmental period from egg to adult averaged 3.5 and 3.2, 3.6 and 3.9, 4.land 4.1 days for female and male individuals, respectively. Adult female and male lived 8.8 and 4.2, 15.5 and 17.9, 11.4 and 15.3 days, respectively, and adult female laid 42, 58, and 25 eggs, respectively. The female to male sex ratio was 2.2, 2.6, and 2.8 in laboratory colony, and was 1.8, 2.5, and 2.3 on seedlings in greenhouse.
