鑑別理想自交系供給親,以作為優良單交種玉米親本改良之來源,將是玉米育種工作中頗為重要的項目之一。本研究採用臺農1號、臺南17號、臺農351號及B73×Mo17等四個單交栽培種之八個親本(TA2808-176、TA3651-377、Antigua-2-44-1、P-3184-1-3-1、TA80-2598、TA80-1410、B73及Mo17)之半互交(不包括反交)材料,進行春、秋、裡等三期作之田間試驗。The identification of inbred lines as sources of favorable alleles not already present in an elite single cross is an important part of a pedigree maize breeding program. A half-diallel set of eight maize inbred lines, TA2808-176, TA3651-377, Antigua-2-44-1, P-3184-1-3-1, TA80-2598, TA 80-1410, B73 and Mo17, representing four popular single-crosses cultivars (Tainung No. 1, Tainan No. 17, Tainung No. 351 and B73×Mo17) were evaluated in three environments (spring, fall and winter crop seasons) for grain yield, plant height, ear height, flowering date and silking date.
