The frequency of virus detected from sampled locations showed no regional difference, but souces of seed-tubers and varieties cultivated made difference. All promising potato clones of No.143, No.770, 3865095-15, and 3865095-54 were found to be widely contaminated by PVS and/or PVX but much less infected by PVY. Particularly clone No. 143 was rarely infected by PVY-M. |
